What is the language spoken in Northern Cyprus?
The official language spoken is Turkish; however English is widely spoken.

Do I need any Visas?
For British passport holders, no visas are required for your visit to Northern or Southern Cyprus.
Which is the destination airport?
Ercan Airport in Lefkosa (Nicosia) is the destination airport for flying to the north of the island. Flights are available from all major London airports to Ercan Lefkosa Airport via Turkey; Sabiha Gokcen-Istanbul, Izmir, and Antalya Airports. Currently there are no direct flights; therefore, a short stopover and a connecting flight in Turkey is a requirement. The average stopover is approximately one and a half to two hours. But be aware when booking your flights; there are some flights that stop in Turkey for several hours.
Alternatively, you can board a direct flight from all major London airports to Larnaca Airport, which is on the south of the island. As the North and South of the Island are two different states and are under separate governments, a smooth passport check is carried out at the border. Your transfer driver can assist you on this.
How long is the flight?
Flights from major London airports to Turkey (Sabiha Gokcen, Izmir, or Antalya) are three and a half to four hours, then approximately one hour from Turkey to Northern Cyprus.
Flights from any major London airport to Larnaca are approximately four hours long.
Which airlines fly to Cyprus?
The main airlines from London to Northern Cyprus via Turkey are Turkish Airlines and Pegasus Airlines.
Main airlines from London to Larnaca are British Airways, Wizz Air, and EasyJet. Please also research other airlines for your own preference.
Can I attend alone, or must I come with a friend, partner, or group?
You are welcome to attend alone; rooms are based on two people sharing a twin room with shared ensuite. Single occupancy is available at an additional charge; please contact us for more information.
How far are the airports to the hotel?
Ercan Airport to Gillham Vineyard and Spa is an approximate one-hour drive.
Larnaca Airport to Gillham Vineyard and Spa is an approximate one and a half hour drive.
What is the currency used in Northern Cyprus?
Turkish Lira is the currency; major debit/credit cards and ApplePay are widely accepted.
What is the time difference?
Northern and southern Cyprus are two hours ahead of the UK.
Please be aware of the time difference if you fly via Turkey. Follow the screen times at the airport.
Time differences in Turkey when the clocks change are:
1. Two hours towards the end of March – towards the end of October
2. Three hours between November and March
Is a Mind ‘N” Soul Retreat a boot camp?
We are no way a boot camp. We welcome any level of fitness. We aim to offer a luxury break combined with a healthy, active wellness mindset. Be aware we are also there to have fun! No one is there to judge; we are all there on our own journey. The main thing is we reach the end of our journey happier, self-motivated, and with a whole new goal set in our lives.
We advise that you take every activity at your own pace. Never push yourself to do more than you can physically do.
Is food and beverages included with my package?
Your package includes breakfast and all soft, hot, and cold drinks. Healthy snacks once a day. Lunch with soft drinks. Evening meal with soft drinks, wine, and/or a limited choice of alcohol. Any food and beverages consumed outside the scheduled meal times will be at an additional cost charged to your room by the hotel.
